Established in 1964 the Genealogical Society of South Africa has six branches: Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Transvaal, North West, Natal Midlands and eGGSA (for international members).
eGGSA or Genealogy Without Frontiers is the “virtual” branch of the society.
Yearly membership includes the Quarterly journal Familia.
